Using XNA to Teach Software Architecture
This paper describes a case study of how a game project using the XNA Game Studio was implemented in a software architecture course. In previous years, a main part of the software architecture course was a software development project where the students were to design the software architecture and implement a robot controller in Java. The robot controller was chosen for the project, as there ex...
متن کاملTwig: A Simple, AI-Friendly, Character World for Believable Agents
There are a number of pieces of core infrastructure that are missing if we want to build intelligent narrative systems. One is the relative lack of availability of intelligent bodies that support wide behavioral repertoires and dynamic worlds. In this paper, I describe Twig, a simple physics and motion control system optimized for believable agents. Twig is open-source, reasonably fast, and run...
متن کاملDatabase Application in Visualization of Process Data
An information system for visualization of Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) has been developed. The main goal for the system is to provide means for better understanding and control of the process. The system uses mainly data generated during UCG process numerical simulation. Apart from that, the system is capable of storing and visualizing measurement georadar data, gathered during in-situ ...
